Immersive Programs
Immersive programs are live or pre-recorded virtual programs that expose students to museum resources from the comfort of your classroom. These educational opportunities are perfect for bringing additional content to your classroom when traveling to a museum is not possible.

The Tennessee State Museum now offers free, virtual field trips covering topics such as First Peoples, Life on the Tennessee Frontier, Civil War Medicine, and Tennessee at the Turn of the Century. In these virtual lessons, students will work through a series of questions to analyze key artifacts as primary sources and then determine what the artifact is and how it was used.
Virtual field trips are offered on Mondays only, with the earliest availability at 8:30 AM Central Time and the latest at 3:30 PM Central Time.
